Ashton is a Linen/organic cotton twill with washed finish. This fabric feels like the perfect blend of our best-selling Sicily linen/cotton and Nomad Linen twill fabrics.  Weighing in at 5.3 oz/sq yard this mid weight twill is perfect for structured tops, dresses, skirts, pants and light weight jackets. 

We think it would be perfect for taking your favorite summer linen pants into fall/winter with patterns like the Pomona Pant, Bob Woven Pants or Arthur Pants. A more structured shirt dress, like the Kalle or Cornell Shirt would also be wonderful. 

Made for slow fashion! Linen is a durable fibre derived from flax, a hardy plant that requires less water than cotton and no fertilizers nor pesticides to grow. Flax plants are also extremely versatile, meaning the entire plant can be used (did someone say minimal waste?). The flax used in this quality is imported from Europe, cultivated without irrigation, and is GMO free.
