No Waste Wool is made from 50% recycled wool and 50% merino wool. The yarn is traceable and non-mulesed The yarn is very soft and has a beautiful and woolen texture. The recycled wool is a waste product from the production of other wool yarns. Excess wool fibers are blended with merino wool and spun into a new yarn. This reduces waste in yarn productions. The 50% merino wool prevents the yarn from breaking easily, which is often the case with pure recycled yarns. The yarn is produced in Italy. The mill follows ethical, technical and environmental standards, creating yarns free from harmful chemicals.
No Waste Wool knits up at the same gauge as Knitting for Olive Merino and is a good substitute or works well together for color work.

Care Instructions:
Hand-wash in cool water, dry flat.
Our favorite method for washing all hand knits! Fill a sink or basin with cool water and submerge the fabric in water, gently squeezing out any air bubbles so that the piece can remain under water without being held there. Soak work for 20-30 minutes, allowing fabric to become completely saturated. Remove excess moisture by rolling your fabric between clean, dry towels with light pressure. Lay fabric flat and shape to air dry.
