Silk Noil is one of our favorite garment fabrics. It has a beautiful weight and drape. Despite being 100% silk, it is machine washable and sews like cotton. The fabric has a bit of a sheen (but not too much for everyday wear). We have sewn dresses, tops, jackets and pants from plain to fancy and silk noil adapts like a chameleon.

Silk Noil is a wonderful fabric for dyeing. We use the Natural for our dye projects.

*The deep colors can fade a bit with washing. You can hand wash and hang dry to limit fading.
